The T-Roc is Volkswagen's first SUV.

This new model is intended primarily for young people who identify with a sporty and urban lifestyle. They can enjoy a high level of customization, for example with the standard two-tone paint job on the T-Roc Style equipment variant and a choice of the latest infotainment systems.

Driver assistance systems such as "Front Assist" and "Lane Assist" are standard on the car, as is a personalization feature for over 100 options. In addition, efficient TSI and TDI engines with power from 85 to 140 kW are installed in the model. This compact SUV is positioned as the new, ideal companion for the urban world.

The VW T-Roc is produced at the Portuguese plant in Setúbal.

All T-Roc engines comply with Euro 6d-Temp-EVAP-ISC or Euro 6d-ISC safety standards. Currently, the power range from 110 to 190 hp is covered. - both for diesel, and for petrol units. Combined with a 6-speed manual or DSG automatic transmission, front- or all-wheel drive, the car has ample range. However, all-wheel drive capabilities are limited to the three most powerful and therefore most expensive engines.

A very interesting offer is the 1.5 TSI with a 150-horsepower engine and a 7-speed DSG gearbox. Although this drive is 1975 euros more expensive than its manual counterpart, it is more convenient to use and even a little economical in terms of consumption. Even after careful inspection, we can't get past 150 hp. In principle, he would give ten or twenty horsepower less, but 110 hp. clearly too weak for the T-Roc, which weighs up to one and a half tons. It will cost approximately 29,210 euros for the desired device.

For a comparable diesel, 2.0 TDI with 150 hp. and automatic transmission, you will have to pay 32,540 euros. However, the consumption will be 0.7 liters per 100 kilometers less. That's what the petrol engine is for, which is 3,330 euros cheaper. Which one you end up choosing depends on individual needs. Since we mainly move around the city, we choose the 1.5 TSI petrol engine. Top speed 205 km/h. Acceleration from standstill to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. For the price, our engine is almost in the middle of the price range.
