Volkswagen Passat B6.

 This car is traditionally considered the benchmark of the D segment. It has a really good chassis and precise handling. Along with this, the model boasts a smooth ride. With acceleration dynamics, this car from Germany definitely has no problems.

The reputation in the market was a little damaged due to the motors that were part of the FSI and TSI series. This also includes a robotic gearbox, which is not designed for continuous operation. The line has modifications of the model with more traditional engineering solutions. We are talking about versions that are equipped with gasoline engines with a volume of 1.6 liters. This unit has a capacity of 102 horsepower.

As a rule, it is paired with a manual transmission, but versions with automatic transmission can also be found on the market. The acceleration dynamics of such a modification is not the best, but in this case the car wins with the reliability of the engine. The unit is simple in terms of design solutions and can be repaired with various components. The transmission can withstand a long service life.

Volkswagen Tiguan I.

 This crossover is one of the most popular on the market. The ground clearance of this model is 20 cm, but it is still easy to manage, which will be appreciated by active motorists. The crossover has good off-road performance. In addition, the manufacturer offers technological equipment, a practical interior and high comfort. The most reliable modification in the first generation is the version with a 2-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 140 horsepower. Paired with it is a classic automatic transmission. The motor has good traction and can last a long time, but on one condition - the use of high-quality fuel. It is not recommended to overheat the automatic transmission, other defects during normal operation are not terrible.

Volkswagen Touareg II.

Another crossover from Volkswagen, which is large. The design provides for a permanent all-wheel drive system, which inspires confidence while driving. This mechanism provides a constant flow of traction to all four wheels. It’s not even worth talking about a high level of comfort, as the manufacturer thought through even minor details.

When choosing a trouble-free modification, you should pay attention to the version with a turbocharged diesel engine with a volume of 3 liters. Its power is 240 horsepower. In order to operate this car without problems, it is enough to fill it with high-quality fuel and periodically diagnose the condition of the timing drive.

Outcome. Automaker Volkswagen is often criticized by motorists. However, in the secondary market you can find three car models at once, which are distinguished by reliability and long service life.
